A beautiful place to relax and enjoy many summer days of fun. As well the conference side of Waldenwoods has a beautiful scape for weddings, reunions , business conferences. Tons of variations of lodging.
We have photographed many weddings at Waldenwoods over the years. The outside is beautiful, with sun setting on the lake just outside the main venue. There is beautiful landscaping and the inside of the main hall cozy and has awesome lighting for creative photo opportunities. We had our wedding in Cromaine Hall last year and loved this venue. We utilized the on-site lodging, having our rehearsal dinner there, and it was so nice and fun to have everything in one spot. Our only negative was with choosing a plated dinner -- it seemed to take a bit longer and some guests said their food was cold. If I could go back, I think the buffet option is the way to go! (and it's easier from a planning standpoint vs having everyone tell you their meal choice). Their food is good otherwise and I received great services and help in planning the day from everyone who worked there.
My husband and I just had our wedding (and reception) at Waldenwoods' Cromaine Hall on 11.30.24 and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! There was so much praise that was being voiced from our guests regarding the atmosphere, the food and the service provided by the Waldenwoods' staff. From day 1, the communication we had received from Waldenwoods during the planning period was amazing. We did end up renting the Hilltop Cottage as well and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage and how cozy it was! I couldn't imagine having booked anywhere else for our wedding!
THANK YOU WALDENWOODS For creating a beautiful venue for our wedding. The pergola and Lakeview tent were beautiful. We were really glad 10/20/2024 was available. Our guests had a great time, and the staff were wonderful. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had there 😌😊😄😄 Our day was special due to the atmosphere, and the hard work we all shared. The staff made me and Thomas feel very special by bringing us our food and drinks. The bathrooms were clean and heated and conveniently placed outside. We appreciate it! Attended a lovely wedding and dinner reception here. The site is beautiful and the food and service was excellent.
Walden Woods is our home away from home. It's worth every single penny. From a wedding venue, to cabins, to camping with a wide range of activities, a pool, hot tub, lake, boats you can rent.... there's just so much! The bathrooms and laundry room are all clean and well... just really nice. There's even a restaurant on site. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful.
We had our wedding at the Cromaine Hall and it was the best decision we could have made! The staff was very helpful and responsive through the whole process. After our final details meeting and rehearsal dinner we left feeling confident knowing that Waldenwoods clearly knows how to coordinate weddings. The food was fantastic and they were accommodating to any dietary restrictions or requests my husband and I had. We truly have no complaints about our wedding day and Waldewnoods definitely played a role in that.
We got married at Waldenwoods Cromaine Hall this past weekend and absolutely loved it. The venue is beautiful and the friendly and helpful staff made the experience amazing. Leading up to the wedding they were extremely responsive and prepared, and helped us work through the smallest of details. The food was fantastic, as well! Amazing venue.
Waldenwoods is such a beautiful venue! The historic Cromaine Hall was the perfect setting for my vintage themed New Year’s Eve wedding. It’s so warm and cozy, and the holiday decor in the hall was gorgeous. The staff were friendly and helpful through the whole planning process, the whole wedding went smoothly, and my friends and family still haven’t stopped raving about the food and quality of service!

A very nice wedding reception venue. The staff is on top of it and it was a great time!
So far so good. We have eaten there for several events and the food is very delicious. Planning a wedding shower and wedding there for the summer of 2025. They are upfront with what to expect and follow through with what they say they will do. Looking forward to the events.
Went to 2 weddings here in the same weekend and both were lovely . One was outside in a gorgeous tent , only bad part was the chairs for the ceremony were set up in the mud. Would have been nice to bring boots for that part lol. The other wedding was at the indoor venue which was totally different but equally beautiful. Parking lot is gravel and difficult to walk thru in high heels which is why I took off a star. Other than that, highly recommend
