At Waldenwoods, ceremonies are more than just the start of the day—they’re part of the full experience. Each of our reception venues includes access to a private outdoor ceremony site on the shores of Lake Walden, available May through October. With nature as your backdrop and every detail handled for you, it’s the kind of setting that feels effortless and meaningful all at once.
Our ceremony package is designed to give you a stress-free, beautifully coordinated moment to say “I do.” It includes separate ceremony time, a pre-wedding rehearsal with our experienced team, and professional assistance on the day of your event to keep everything flowing smoothly. Setup and teardown are taken care of, so all you have to do is show up and soak in the moment. And while every couple brings their own style, the scenery brings the magic—especially when the sun sets over the lake.
Ceremony Spaces
Each of our reception venues includes access to a lakeside ceremony site set on the scenic front lawn, with views of the water and surrounded by natural beauty. These charming spaces create a simple yet stunning backdrop for your vows. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a full guest list, the setting offers plenty of space, flexibility, and unforgettable views.
Our heart is set on hosting your ceremony outdoors, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Walden. But when the weather has other plans, we’re ready with a seamless backup. We’ll make the final call up to one hour before your ceremony, based on the most up-to-date weather conditions.
If inclement weather arises, your ceremony will be moved indoors to your reception venue—Cromaine Hall, the Lakeview Tent, or Sunshine Cove. Guests will stay comfortably seated at their assigned tables, and your ceremony will take place right on the dance floor. This smooth transition keeps your timeline on track while preserving the warmth, intimacy, and beauty of the moment—no shuffling, no stress, just heartfelt memories.
